When looking for non-Chinese suppliers, bear in mind that alternative sourcing markets may not be able to produce all product categories like China does. However, in certain categories these countries may be competitive so you can try to source these categories for your business in the long term. For example, India specializes in home products, gifts, eco-friendly products, cotton-based textiles & fabrics, apparel, leather and so on.
Your business plan lays it all out. It details what you sell and where your profit comes from; how much inventory you’ll have on hand and where you’ll store it. It lays out your return policy — and you’ll need one of those. Most important, your business plan details your total start-up cost, from your ad campaign to Web designer to monthly server fees.
They have a public Courses page which showcases some of the major courses from their library right out in the open. It looks like each course shown has it’s own landing page and is available for sale separately. This is a similar strategy that I use here at Blog Marketing Academy where certain courses are available separately. Each one functions as a front-end offer, essentially, with the upgrade to full membership as an upsell. They’re then positioning the membership as the obvious money-saving option.

One of the big decisions you’ll need to make when it comes to your membership site is how much you’re going to charge. While it’s tempting to pluck a price out of thin air, that’s not a strategy that’s going to put the most profit in your pocket. Instead, use this checklist guide to determine the best and most profitable pricing strategy for your membership site!

I find it clear and concise but some of the steps are not instinctive for newbies like myself so I'm stuck searching and learning and sometimes wasting time for little details that I'm sure are just mishaps or a lack of experience on my part regarding terminology… I hope I'm not offending anyone, I love the list but now I'm a little lost as to where I find my answers. I was suppose to launch 5 days ago and I really need this.

Product Information Management – Take a weight off your shoulder and invest in a product information management (PIM) system to help you better manage localized content as you scale. Be sure you select one that can provide you a repository for not just product information but also content and media. You can do this on BigCommerce using the products section as well as the content media tab. Keep each country’s product and content usage organized and separated using various BigCommerce stores for specific regions. If you want something more centralized and customized, a company like Jasper Studios can help you set up whatever you need.
Realize a couple of key facts: A) the prices for e-commerce software have fallen, so you don’t need to spend a fortune unless your needs are complicated, and B) many of today’s e-commerce packages include a full range of tools in one package, from an inventory management system to marketing tools. Many of today’s merchants prefer this “all-in-one” approach because it makes life simpler.
In the spirit of Spring Cleaning and the tax season deadline, I figured I’d give out an audit that people might actually appreciate. We perform audits for prospective and existing customer eCommerce sites to evaluate where they might be losing sales. We have developed our Website Audit Template specifically for eCommerce websites, and it has been extremely helpful so we wanted to share it with you. To get access to your own copy of the eCommerce site audit template (spreadsheet form), just click the text link or fill in your email at the bottom of the page to subscribe to our blog and get instant access!
Ever heard the saying, “If you fail to plan, then you’re planning to fail?” That saying definitely applies to running a membership site, which is why you’ll want to plan out your content creation and delivery calendar at least six to twelve months ahead of time. Fortunately, you can make the whole process a lot easier by using this content calendar checklist!
So if you are able to gain anything from an eCommerce audit it should be to understand what problems are causing your website to lose sales. The best way to perform these audits is to dive into your analytics to get a good understanding of your traffic’s behavior and how it relates back to your site’s design and page architecture. This can take some experience in understanding this data and might be more of a project than you are hoping for, so the next best option is to use our eCommerce Site Checklist Template to see if your site is following best practices.
Of course, you will ‘sell’ this offer with professional sales copy, some great headlines, and maybe even some bullet points. But the general idea here is to introduce yourself to this new cold traffic visitor, let them know what you are about, let them know that you can help them, and convince them that the first step to solving their problem is to opt-in to your free offer.

The math is pretty simple: the more members you have, the more money you’ll make in frontend membership fees as well as backend offers. That’s why you’ll want to make it a top priority to install a membership retention strategy that keeps members hooked, engaged and satisfied. So put this checklist to work for you from Day 1, and I think you’ll like what you see when you look at your bottom line!
Checkbox Form Object - Use the checkbox form field only if you are wanting to add interactivity to your checklist. The checkbox form field, found in the Forms toolbar, can link to a cell in the spreadsheet without requiring any Visual Basic programming. The linked cell will be a boolean value TRUE or FALSE. Like the drawing objects, working with a large number of checkboxes can get messy.
