Our checklists and checklist templates are licensed for personal use only. However, to avoid a bunch of emails, I will also say that I am okay with you doing almost anything with these checklists except posting the checklist (or anything you have created using the checklist template) on the internet or selling it. That includes permission to print and distribute as many paper copies of your checklist as you need. Don't remove the copyright or hyperlinks that I've included in the spreadsheet, though.
You might be a little overwhelmed by this really long ecommerce checklist. And that’s a normal feeling. Many new entrepreneurs do feel like they’re in over their heads when they start out. However, half the battle is knowing what to do. I hope that knowing every single step you’ll have to take over these first few months helps you inch closer to achieving the success that you dream of. And that this list actually makes you realize that you can do this. Because honestly, you’re a rockstar and you know this. It’s going to be a busy few months as you build up that new online store, but with our checklist, you can just cross things off to see how far you’ve come.
I already created a thank you email once they purchase which is the next step right after they buy but when I go to my product fulfillment page and look at the top menu steps that I have to follow and it includes the fulfillment email and I don't know what to do because I'm not sure if I have to enter the link (drop down options) at the bottom of that page with my TY page or is this another email just to confirm purchase? Also, when I do enter my TY page (bottom) and click save and continue, it asks me to enter subject and body or it won't save it…. What does that mean since my page is already created?
First, from the product page, the Add to Cart button should be highly visible. Next, the shopping cart should be easy to locate—usually positioned in the sidebar, or the top-right. The checkout page should be super-easy to access, and never more than one click away, allowing a visitor to bypass the shopping cart if they want. Finally, the checkout fields should be logical, and kept to a minimum.
Building a loyal community isn’t just about installing a forum or starting a closed Facebook group and calling it a day. It’s about making your members feel like they’re a part of something bigger than themselves, making them feel like their part of an elite or inner circle, making them feel special and valued, and giving them a sense of belonging. And this checklist shows you how to do all of this and more!
Again, unless your research makes it clear that your audience is ready and waiting to join your program, don’t produce your entire membership program just yet. Starting small and creating just enough top-quality content to keep charter members happy, then seeking their feedback before moving on to the next stage of production will help save you both time and effort in the long run.

Google Sheets beat Microsoft to the punch and introduced a Checkbox as one of the Data Validation options. You can go to Insert > Checkbox to quickly create one, and you can customize it by going to Data > Data Validation. I've updated most of the Google Sheets versions of my checklists to use that feature. I hope Excel gets smart and introduces a similar feature some day.
